Dr. Dre’s Son Found Dead

Twenty year old Andre Young Jr., the son of rapper, Dr. Dre was found dead this past Saturday of unknown causes.

Young Jr., who was named after his father, was found dead Saturday by his mother at their home in suburban Woodland Hills, county coroner’s Lt. John Kades said.

An autopsy was performed Monday, but the cause of death wasn’t likely to be determined for eight weeks while toxicology tests are done, Kades said. [Google/AP]


In other Dre news, he’ll soon be launching a line of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with the release of his long awaited new solo album Detox.

NEW YORK (Billboard) – Hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre’s cognac and vodka brands will hit liquor stores in the next 60 days, according to celebrity booze marketer Drinks America Holdings Ltd.

Aftermath Congac will come out first, followed by an 80-proof flavored and unflavored sparkling vodka, Drinks America said in its fourth-quarter earnings statement. [Reuters]
