Can’t say I’m really a DMB fan anymore, but this has to be the smallest show the Dave Matthews Band has played in years.

FUSE is proud to announce Dave Matthews Band: Live From The Beacon Theatre on June 1st! For the first time in over a decade Dave Matthews Band will be broadcasting their live show from the Beacon Theatre, featuring 2 ½ hours of commercial free live music only on FUSE. In support of Dave Matthews Band: Live From The Beacon Theatre FUSE will also be featuring 7 days of original Dave Matthews Band programming beginning on May 25th. The show is a benefit and all proceeds will go towards the Dave Matthews Band’s Bama Works Fund which supports charitable programs in the Charlottesville, VA area. According to the band’s website, tickets to the show will be distributed by “invitation only”, so ah, good luck scalpers.

In band other news, the Dave Matthews Band‘s eighth studio album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King will be released on June 2, 2009.
