Nothing locally listed yet, but if you live in DETROIT, PHILADELPHIA, PHOENIX, INDIANAPOLIS, IOWA, CHARLOTTE, DALLAS, OMAHA, or ORLANDO you may be entitled to some sweet “2 For Tuesday” deals. Particularly interesting is the Philadelphia promotion which includes, Diane Birch, Robby Krieger, Jimmy Cliff, Coco Rosie, Kaiju Big Battel and Stanley Clark & Hiromi (some of the Philly shows listed are actually in Atlantic City though). Detroit is also pretty good too, right now it has 2 for 1 deals on The Futureheads, Rodriguez and Thao and Mirah with the Most of All. Live Nation will be eliminating the service fee on concert tickets for participating shows at owned and operated Live Nation amphitheatres as of 12:01 am on June 1, 2010 through 11:59 pm on June 30, 2010.

Once again Live Nation is beginning it’s summer ticket fire sale with a “No Service Fee*” promotion at a number of its amphitheater venues. “Local venues” included in the “No Service Fee” promotion are: Nikon Theatre at Jones Beach, Bay Stage at Jones Beach, PNC Bank Arts in Holmdel, NJ and Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ. If history is any indicator, the “No Service Fee” promotion will run all summer long and also possibly grow to include the local LN clubs: Gramercy Theatre, Irving Plaza, Roseland Ballroom and the Hammerstein Ballroom. Also, if history is any guide, you won’t find a single local live nation show you want to see with the fees waived.
