I must admit, few albums had a bigger impact on me in my youth than Peter Gabriel‘s So. I sure would like to see this show, but I don’t think tickets are going to be cheap or easy to come by.
Following a critically acclaimed New Blood tour in 2011 that reignited Peter Gabriel fans across the world by reimagining his best known songs through stunning orchestral arrangements, Gabriel announced today his return to U.S. stages to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his groundbreaking, iconic album So.
Focusing on the entirety of that multi-platinum album [So], the tour, entitled BACK TO FRONT, will feature Gabriel with many of the members of the original band he toured with 25 years ago and will feature the album’s songs from start to finish plus some of his other biggest hits.

Presale tickets for the Peter Gabriel So show at Jones Beach on September 23 go on Citi Private Pass and Fan Club Presale starting today (Tuesday, May 29) at 10AM(Buy Tickets). It stands to reason that this tour will continue throughout the fall and winter and Peter will play a proper NYC venue, Radio City or (more likely) MSG at some point in the future.
