Since her debut in 1996 with Living with Ghosts, Patty Griffin has continued to release critically-acclaimed albums steeped in Americana, love, sadness, apparitions, and salt-of-the-earth characters. Continually evolving, Griffin’s success across genres has been recognized with a Grammy nomination for her second album 1,000 Kisses and the “Best Traditional Gospel Album” Grammy award for Downtown Church in 2010. While the full Celebrate Brooklyn! 2013 schedule has not yet been revealed, two summer benefit shows have been officially announced. The first benefit show of the season featuring Belle and Sebastian and Yo La Tengo will take place on July 11, 2013 (Buy Tickets). There will be another benefit show on July 30, 2013 with Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds Five and Guster. Tickets for that show are also on sale now.
