Though it hasn’t been “officially announced yet”, They Might Be Giants drummer Marty Beller recently posted a message on the soon to be “fee based” Park Slope Parents message board announcing a free TMBG show at the Prospect Park Bandshell on July 11 (as an aside, I actually saw this info on Pollstar.com before Beller’s posting). Another unofficial announcement for the June 25 show at Prospect Park featuring Femi Kuti came by way of press release for his upcoming tour.
