Hey folks, the good news is that the festival circuit hit, The Swell Season Movie, will be getting an official theatrical release in October of this year. In other related news, Marketa Irglova‘s debut solo album Anar will be released on October 11 via Anti. Marketa will be playing select US tour dates with Iron and Wine in support of her new album, though she will not be opening for him in NYC. Presumably, she will announce a New York CD release show around the time Anar comes out, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a show Mercury or Bowery announced in the near future.
