The voting for the 2008 GapKids & babyGap Casting Call contest goes live on Monday, December 8, but I’ve got an early heads up on the one and only finalist from the NYC area (out of over 900,000 entrants). Her name is Audrey, she’s two years old and she is one five kids competing in the baby girl category. To learn a little more about more Audrey, you can check out her blog (spunkyaudrey.blogspot.com) or her MySpace page (myspace.com/spunkyaudrey) or her Facebook page (“search Spunky Audrey”). Good luck Audrey!

A big, big THANK YOU to Bumpershine for this awesome post about Audrey! We’re so excited about her being a finalist, and we’re really grateful for any help getting the word out for her.
We know that there are so many beautiful children and that a lot of this is about luck. We hope that people will get to know Audrey a bit and see how much fun she is and of course vote for her 🙂
If anyone is curious about the contest, I would certainly be happy to answer any questions. And if you have any suggestions for how we can let more people know about Audrey and the contest, I’m all ears 🙂 Thanks so much for reading!

Yay! After Pacquiao’s win last night, I have no doubts that MORE and MORE Filipino-Americans will enter the entertainment/commercial scene. I am rooting for Audrey and hope to see more of us Fil-AM’s moving and shaking things up!!! Cheers!
Thanks, Marivic! That’s pretty cool that you were able to tell that Audrey’s Filipino-American 🙂
